1. Product Introduction
The W-Series Mining Steel Strap Forming Machine is a specialized piece of equipment developed and manufactured in accordance with the "People's Republic of China Coal Industry Standard — MT/T861-2000 W-section steel straps for coal mines". This equipment is a fully automatic production line that processes 2.0mm–6.0mm steel coils through a complete integrated process — from uncoiling, feeding, leveling, cold roll forming, punching, and cutting to finished product output — all in one continuous operation.
The equipment adopts a rational cold roll forming process, advanced fully digital non-stop forming technology, industrial PLC control, and scientific material handling methods, processing coil steel into mining steel straps of various specifications that meet standard requirements in a single pass.

3. Standard Tooling Production Capability
With the standard tooling, the machine can produce W-section steel straps with a thickness of 2.0–6.0mm and widths of 180mm, 250mm, and 280mm.
To produce M-section steel straps of widths above 300mm, additional tooling (dies) will need to be purchased.

Application Brief — Mining W-Section Steel Straps
The combined support technology of W-section steel straps and rock bolts is generally applicable to rock strata of medium stability or below. In coal mine roadway support applications, compared with the commonly used No. 11 mining I-beam frame, each support frame can save 860kg of steel.
The widespread application of W-section steel strap and rock bolt combined support technology in mine construction not only saves substantial amounts of steel and timber, but also significantly reduces labor intensity and improves the working environment for workers, bringing considerable economic and social benefits to safe and efficient coal mining operations.
