Product Features & Applications

This SINOTRUK HOWO TX7 6×4 dump truck is a classic 10-wheel heavy-duty engineering tipper. Equipped with high-power Weichai engine and reinforced 6×4 dual-rear-drive chassis, it comes with thickened wear-resistant red cargo box and stable front hydraulic lifting system. It features outstanding load capacity and great off-road performance for muck, sand, ore and earthwork transportation. Robust and low-maintenance, this truck is widely used for domestic construction sites and overseas infrastructure projects.

This tipper adopts classic engineering red and black appearance of HOWO TX7 series. The front grille is decorated with silver HOWO logo and SINOTRUK triangle emblem, fitted with split headlights and thickened anti-collision bumper to resist stone impact on construction sites. Its cargo box is made of thickened wear-resistant manganese steel with bright red finish, matched with a large front-mounted hydraulic lifting cylinder to realize stable and smooth unloading. A non-slip ladder is installed on the side of the box, and a spare tire is fixed inside the box for convenient maintenance and emergency replacement.
The widened flat-top TX7 cab provides ample inner space, equipped with airbag shock-absorbing seats, constant temperature air conditioner, electric windows and wide-view external swing rearview mirrors. Optimized sound insulation and sealing effectively reduce driving fatigue during long-time site operation. Multiple storage areas and reasonably arranged control buttons bring simple and convenient operation experience.

2. Power and Transmission System

Powered by mature Weichai WP12 diesel engine with three power options (400HP, 430HP, 460HP), the vehicle delivers abundant low-speed torque, offering strong climbing capacity and excellent off-road traction when fully loaded with sand, ore or muck. It has great fuel compatibility and can work steadily with different grades of diesel fuel worldwide.
Matched with SINOTRUK 10-speed heavy-duty manual transmission as standard, the gearbox can withstand frequent start-stop impact in harsh working conditions. AMT automatic transmission is optional to reduce shifting workload for drivers. The rear axle adopts construction-specific speed ratio to guarantee powerful starting traction under heavy load, and the whole powertrain achieves low fuel consumption and low failure rate.

Built on a rugged 6×4 dual rear drive chassis, it is equipped with a reinforced 7.5-ton front steering axle and two 16-ton heavy-duty tandem drive axles. The double-layer thickened frame and widened multi-leaf spring suspension effectively resist distortion and deformation during long-term heavy haulage of stone and mineral materials.
The U-shaped cargo box has smooth inner walls to avoid material adhesion. The front hydraulic lifting structure provides stable supporting force during unloading, and an enclosed environmental cover can be customized to meet urban muck transportation standards. Full air brake system, ABS anti-lock system and exhaust auxiliary brake are standard configurations to prevent brake overheating risks on long downhill sections. All chassis pipelines are covered with protective baffles to block mud and broken stones, extending the service life of core components.
