HOWO NX is an economical heavy-duty tractor truck developed by China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (Sinotruk) specifically for long-haul logistics, container transport, bulk cargo, and engineering material transportation. It adopts a 6×4 ten-wheel three-axle drive layout, focusing on high load capacity, low fuel consumption, and rugged durability. 1. Exterior & Cab Design

This HOWO NX tractor adopts a brand-new layered front grille with three silver decorative strips and an impact-resistant grey bumper, creating a highly recognizable front face. The front headlights are equipped with metal protective grilles, which effectively prevent damage from flying gravel at construction sites, mines and rough roads. The split integrated rearview mirror is fitted with wide-angle ground mirrors to eliminate blind spots and improve driving safety.
The cab features an enlarged reinforced frame with ample interior space. The flat-roof single sleeper cab shown in the picture balances lightweight design and road passing performance, while the optional high-roof double sleeper version caters to long-distance two-person trunk logistics. It comes standard with electric windows, constant temperature air conditioning, large windshields and built-in sun visors, delivering a comfortable driving experience for long-haul trips. Oversized door storage compartments offer extra space for tools, documents and daily supplies.

2. Powerful Performance & Loading Capacity

It is equipped with SINOTRUK’s classic WD615 series diesel engine, a time-tested power unit with globally accessible spare parts and ultra-low maintenance costs. The mainstream 371-horsepower variant generates sufficient torque for heavy loads, ensuring stable climbing power even on steep slopes. Matched with the HW19710 10-speed manual transmission (12-speed manual or AMT automatic transmission optional), it features a wide gear ratio range to cut fuel consumption under empty loads and deliver strong traction for full loads.
The 6×4 dual-rear-axle layout uses thickened high-strength steel frame and heavy-duty leaf spring suspension, supporting a maximum towing mass of up to 55 tons. It can perfectly pair with container semi-trailers, bulk cargo semi-trailers, dump semi-trailers and oil tank semi-trailers, covering transportation scenarios of coal, sand, container goods, agricultural products and engineering materials.

3. Fuel Economy & Outstanding Durability

The whole vehicle adopts optimized power transmission matching to reduce fuel consumption under standard highway loads. Most core components are domestically manufactured with complete overseas supply chains, greatly lowering failure rates and making it ideal for regions with limited maintenance infrastructure such as Africa, Central Asia and Southeast Asia. The corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy fuel tank extends service life, while all vehicle pipelines and wiring harnesses are reinforced against abrasion to withstand high-temperature, dusty and bumpy unpaved roads.

4. Comprehensive Safety Configuration

It is equipped with air-operated drum brakes, exhaust auxiliary brakes and spring parking brakes, which provide stable speed control on long downhill sections to avoid brake overheating. ABS anti-lock braking system is available as an optional upgrade. The cab complies with international collision safety standards and can slide backward slightly to buffer impact forces in accidents. Separate high/low beam headlights guarantee clear visibility at night and in foggy weather, and the front metal grille shields headlights and radiators from front-end collisions and rock impacts at construction sites.
