Product Features & Applications

The ME18-2 is a compact crawler excavator for trenching, footing work, landscaping and utility jobs where a full-size machine cannot reach. It carries a canopy, a side-shift boom for digging tight against walls and fences, and pilot control. Operating weight is confirmed with the specification sheet. The undercarriage is 1100 mm wide, which keeps it towable behind a light truck while staying stable with a loaded bucket. Engines, attachments and paint colour are confirmed at order. Where it fits

Guard mesh over the canopy and a cast counterweight are the two details that set this machine apart. The mesh stops debris thrown up by the tracks, which matters on demolition and road repair, and the cast weight sits lower and further back than a fabricated box, so the tail holds the machine down when the boom is fully extended over a trench edge. The 1100 mm track gauge means it still squeezes through a gate. Lever response is proportional, so trimming a batter or levelling a patio base is done by hand feel, not by repeated measurement.
