Product Features & Applications

Basalt fiber rock bolt is a high-performance fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) rock bolt made from natural basalt ore. The ore is melted at high temperature and drawn into fibers, which are then combined with a high-performance resin matrix through the pultrusion process. It is a new type of tensile member in geotechnical engineering, designed to replace traditional steel rock bolts and earlier glass fiber rock bolts. Typical applications include high‑gas mines (where spark prevention is critical) and mines with highly corrosive water environments.
